Nothing better on a cold, winter day than sitting in front of a warm fire.
Kinda blurry, but a picture of the snowy banks of the Delaware River crossing from Trenton, NJ to Morrisville, PA.
This is how I found Erik in his swing after a few minutes- fast asleep and still holding the ring.
A small shot of our Japanese Maple from the snow/ice storm.
Nicholas took a break from playing this morning to climb into his bed and snuggle with Teddy.
I had forgotten my battery on the charger, and only took a few pictures. Included was this attempt at a self-portrait with Erik. All you can really see of me is my hand.
Crazy, random pictures such as this are what you get when my camera battery dies and I don't have my charger. I was taking a test picture in my in-laws kitchen when my camera died.
A shot of Nicholas in the truck.
We finally had some beautiful weather today (it hit 50 degrees!) so I took the boys outside for a walk. Nicholas became a little tree hugger.
Erik with his cousins Ali & Ian. Nicholas did not want to be a part of the picture- little stinker!
Up close and personal with Erik during tummy time.
Erik hanging out with Nicholas' teddy.
Rocky is always a willing subject when my 2yo doesn't care to cooperate.
This is Nicholas' veggie 'cupcake.' My child doesn't like regular sugar-filled cupcakes, so his Opa created him a cupcake out of veggies. He ate it all up!
Another cutie, but this time it is my nephew, Michael.
Two of my favorite guys- my husband, Ken, and Nicholas bonding over a video game.
Well, I figured I'd show you a picture of me. Here is yours truly with both of my boys.
I was a slacker and only took two pictures today. This is Nicholas eating the cream filling from his cookies. We make a good pair, since I prefer the cookie and not the cream.
During tummy time today Mr. Erik rolled over from his belly to back, and this was where he landed. He also happens to be wearing one of my most favorite outfits- I have it in 2 sizes so far, and looking for it in larger sizes!
Nicholas asked me to pull out my camera and take some pictures of him. This is what he gave me. I think he forgot that you're supposed to smile for the camera.
SNOW! Ha, it was a cruel joke that mother nature played on our emotions. There was BARELY a coating, and by the time I got outside to take a picture there was hardly anything left, as you can sort of see.
Freezing! Yes, that is the temperature...COLD! I had actually tried to take a picture of it snowing outside, but it was only flurries. Maybe tomorrow will allow for a better snow picture.
It was the end of the day and I realized I had forgotten to take my picture, so just a quick shot of Erik in his bear suit!
Mi casa
Ok...I technically did not take this picture. Nicholas wanted to take some pictures, so I let him use my point & shoot. This one of Erik turned out pretty decent. (The one of me with half of my body missing- not so good!) And yes, my son is hanging out in a pink bouncy seat. :)
My cookie cutter kids in their matching monkey jammies. Couldn't get a smile from either one.
No sophisticated photography today, just a snapshot. Nicholas says, "I draw you a picture, Mommy. It's a camel." Pretty darn good camel for a 2.5 year old.
This is one of my favorite Christmas ornaments- from our first Christmas together as a married couple in 2004.

This blog is my own personal project to improve my photography skills, and a way to look back and reflect upon the year through photographs. I've seen a few other blogs on it, and you can read more details here.So...to kick off my new project- picture #1. My first baby, Rocky.
